Pencasts
Quick Handwritten Overviews
Pencasts are brief video clips that outline a single concepts by writing it out with a pen. It's just like you and I are in my office or in class and I'm mapping an idea out on a piece of paper or on a whiteboard.
You can also create your own pencasts using a Livescribe Smartpen to record study sessions, lecture notes, etc.
To use a pencast, just click on the pencast screen and it will start playing. If it's narrated, then you need to have your speakers on or an audio headset (you can can get one from the staff if you are using a campus computer). Narrated pencasts usualy also have transcripts available.
I recommend that you enlarge the screen by clicking the "full screen" icon.
You can link to pencasts from other pages by clicking the pencast icon ![]()
